WebMoney Transfer has a special verification service allowing members to gain the status of verified WebMoney Transfer users.
WebMoney verification consists of issuing digital passports identifying holders of WMID numbers in accordance with personal information or information about their companies.
A WebMoney Transfer member wishing to get a Personal passport should provide WebMoney with legal ID, and his or her personal information will be verified by a registrar.
The higher is the level of a WM passport, the more benefits the WebMoney system offers and the more effective is the business of its holder. For example, holders of Personal passports are allowed to:
participate in different kinds of partner and sponsor programs and the following services: BXOD.COM, credit exchange, Merchant WebMoney Transfer, Capitaller and other services;
restore the rights to a WM ID even if he or she loses the associated secure keys and/or purse files;
participate in the partner program of the verification center
get and grant credits in WM units.
Types of passports
To make using WebMoney convenient, we have developed several types passports which reflect different levels of verification,
here is the list in order of increasing capabilities:
Alias passport
Formal passport
Initial passport
Personal passport
Merchant passport
Capitaller passport
Developer passport
Registrar passport
All these passports differ by acquisition procedure, verification rights they grant and liabilities their owners are bound with.
There are also several passports issued to services and underwriters of WebMoney Transfer:
passport of a WMT Operator
passport of a WMT Service
passport of a WMT Guarantor (underwriter)
Expiration date of WM passports
WM passports are issued for an indefinite period of time.
WM passport can be revoked by the holder himself. WM passport can also be revoked if the personal information provided in the passport is false or inaccurate
